Teaching Methodology

The entire focus and methodology is to make complete human beings of our students, and all our efforts rotate around the golden words of Mr. Alexander Pope that “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing”

Our school attaches prime importance to empower children with cognitive skills required to keep pace with the ever changing and evolving trends. The curriculum is designed to equip our children with dexterity of hand, vigilance of mind and inculcate in them a moral fibre, a sprit of enquiry and scientific temper to give them the competitive edge and appeal to higher studies.

KINDERGARTEN:-

Play group initiates a little child to interact with the outside world with help of different Montessori apparatus. Playway’s latest methods of teaching including sounds with picture on computer, audio visual education, Games items, Montessori apparatus, days celebration and the latest teaching apparatus help a child to begin the process of absorption and comprehension of the world around him.

PRIMARY LEVEL (CLASS I TO V):-

A thematic approach is designed to stimulate the children through various inter-active sessions and activities.

An extensive use of educational technology aids to supplement classroom teaching.

Project work in class calls for mass participation. Equal emphasis is laid on developing a strong sense of individuality. Field trips and excursions make learning fun.

Use of newspaper articles, quizzes, crosswords, extempore activities and other learning modes enhance general awareness, and inculcate a habit of speaking fluently and without inhibitions.

MIDDLE LEVEL (CLASS VI TO CLASS VIII):-

Emphasis is on acquiring in-depth conceptual knowledge in all spheres. The curriculum is research oriented and based on teamwork vis-à-vis discussions, group project work, discovery and exploration.

Personality development, value education and coping with peer pressure are stressed upon at this stage.

Students work in groups and make power point presentations on subject related topics Stress is on fine tuning the students to their fullest academic and otherwise potential.

SECONDARY LEVEL (IX-X):-

In the secondary level, the school is determined to educate the students in the following areas to make them visionary students.
